Forrest Galante is known for his experience with the natural world, outdoor survival and animal expertise. Growing up in Harare, Zimbabwe, Forrest harvested a love and deep connection with the natural world that seemed to map out his future. After political unrest forced his family to move back to California, Forrest's love with the outdoors continued.
Galante was a participant on Discovery Channel's program 'Naked and Afraid' in the winter of 2013, where he spent 21 amazing days in the jungles of Panama. The cast began to follow his lead as Galante's skills set him apart. This was the public's first encounter to the adventurer Forrest Galante. He now hosts Animal Planet's hit program 'Extinct or Alive,' where he uses his unique set of skills scouring for evidence that animals once declared extinct may still be in the wild. Galante considers this the most detrimental television work he has ever done, as it pairs education with conservation and nature with exploration. It's his undeniable dedication to the wild parts of the world we live in that draws us to this impressive man.
